![]() ![]() I am offering this portrait of my friend, mentor, and former employer Ansel Adams. I seldom make portraits, but this image of Ansel (made 40 years ago) has always been a favorite of mine. I have always enjoyed the twinkle in his friendly eyes and the shape of his frequently worn Stetson hat. It was made in the backyard of Ansel and Virginia's home located directly behind The Ansel Adams Gallery. This hand crafted silver gelatin, selenium toned, print is approximately 7-1/4 x 9", personally printed by me (as are all my prints), processed to current archival standards, signed, mounted, and matted to 14x17" on 100 percent rag museum board. All of the prints ordered will be shipped no later than February 29, 2016. All prints are carefully prepared and packaged in specially designed protective shipping boxes, and shipped fully insured via UPS ground. Normally there is a long waiting period for my original silver gelatin prints. This is a rare opportunity to obtain a print with a short waiting period.
